Continental or full hot breakfast selections are served in the Nimbo Fork Dining room.
Nimbo breakfast selections consist of homemade jams and condiments, fresh baked breads and pastries, local free range eggs and bacon, yogurt, selection of cereals, juices and beverage selection.
Lunch is available for group bookings of 10 or more, seven days per week but must be pre-booked in advance.
We also offer a selection of Gourmet Picnic baskets you can select from to take with you as you explore the local region and all there is to experience. Again our focus wherever possible is on using fresh or locally produced ingredients and you can be sure your Basket will include items created and cooked in our own kitchens such breads, pastries, pate’s, jams, pickles, relishes, chutneys and sauces.
Nimbo dinner menus are designed to offer a choice of farm to plate eating experiences focused on seasonal availability of produce that will ensure you eat well, eat fresh and enjoy the best in regional cuisine.
Being a small establishment we provide country hospitality delivered with a personal touch so dinner must be pre-booked to ensure we are prepared to ensure you are catered for. That is unless of course you want to join us for our nightly meal which means you eat what we eat! Rest assured we love food so what we eat we know you will enjoy too and you will still have a personal table waiting to ensure your privacy so you can relax and enjoy your meal.
You won’t find a massive menu at Nimbo Fork but you will find a menu selection to suit most taste buds and one dedicated to treating you to an eating experience focused on great taste, high quality and unique country flavours.
We aim to ensure you can sit back, feel relaxed and enjoy your dining experiences in a quality venue providing views over the river and ever changing rural landscape that surrounds Nimbo. Although we provide friendly, personal and professional service we understand it’s important to give you space and the time you need to treat yourselves to a quality eating experience.
At Nimbo Fork house guests can enjoy a drink in the surrounds of our luxury lounge bar while having a game of pool or billiards or sitting and relaxing in the plush lounges around the fire. Nimbo has a well stocked cellar of fine champagnes, wines and spirits that will satisfy most palates.
Presenting some of Australia’s best ingredients and produce from the neighbouring Riverina district, Nimbo Fork will meet the expectations of even the most discriminating gourmand.
From that favourite Grange or Chateaux Margaux, Nimbo Fork’s fully stocked cellar of fine champagnes, wines and spirits will also satisfy the most diverse and discerning of palates.
Nimbo Fork is located 20 kms from Gundagai and 20 kms from Tumut, on the Western slopes of the Brindabella Ranges and close to Kosciuszko National Park.
Road access to Nimbo Fork is via the Hume Highway (20 kms) or the Snowy Mountains Highway (15 kms) and should take no less than 4 hours to reach from Sydney.
The fastest way to Nimbo Fork would be via the daily air service from both Sydney and Melbourne into Wagga Wagga.
Qantas operates 4 flights daily to and from Sydney and Melbourne.
Regional Express operates 2 daily flights to and from Sydney, as well as 2 flights daily, to and from Melbourne.
All the major rental car companies have facilities at Wagga Wagga airport and reservations can be arranged for you. From there, it’s just a one hour drive to Nimbo Fork.
Road transfers to and from Wagga Wagga airport can also be arranged and additional cost.
In addition, charter flights from Sydney and Melbourne by fixed wing or helicopter, directly into the Tumut airfield can be organised upon request, as can coach transfers to and from Sydney for larger groups.
